The skull fills most of the frame, cropped tight with the first section of the spine branching off at the top-left. The jaw hangs fully open, teeth running along the lower edge in a solid serrated line. The design uses flat fills rather than linework: large areas of solid black with the orbital and nasal fenestrae left as plain white voids. The partial spine adds anatomical context — enough to suggest the rest of the skeleton without showing it.
